Our very own Mazzone Extra Virgin Olive Oil is mono-varietal, cold pressed exclusively from a careful selection of hand harvested Coratina olives - straight from our family grove in Ruvo di Puglia, Italy. The oil produced is high in polyphenols and health-giving compounds directly associated with exceptional quality extra virgin olive oil.
Attributes: Our estate grown Coratina olives produce oil which has bright, golden-yellow hues with a fruity and rich aroma. The light but savory olive flavor possesses hints of almond and artichoke followed with a peppery finish. Its pleasantly robust flavor is ideal in pasta dishes, with sauteeing vegetables, using as a marinade or sauce, drizzled over bruschetta or in any occasion where the full flavor of freshly pressed olives is desired.
